Lydia Akins
Personal Trainer
I’m a three-sport athlete who first discovered the power of strength training in my sophomore year of high school. What began as a way to enhance athletic performance quickly grew into a true passion that built my confidence and helped me develop both physical and mental strength.
I went on to play five years of collegiate lacrosse at Endicott College, where I earned a degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition and later completed my master’s degree in Sports Leadership. During my time at Endicott, I set the female squat record with a 325-pound lift, a milestone that reflected my dedication to training and growth. Throughout my athletic and academic journey, and after overcoming major injuries including labrum repair and ACL reconstruction, I developed a strong interest in injury prevention, performance training, and helping others feel confident and capable in the gym.
Whether your goal is weight loss, strength building, or sports performance, I’m here to support and guide you. I believe everyone deserves to feel strong in their body, and I’m passionate about creating challenging training sessions that are challenging and empowering.
When I am not working, I love all things sports, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my family and friends! Let’s train together!
